The Role

Spicers Balfour Hotel now have an opening for an experienced Front Office Attendant to join the Front Office team. In this position, your main priority will be to ensure a superb guest experience by providing genuine, welcoming and efficient service every time. You will work closely with the Front Office Manager and General Manager to ensure all key performance indicators are achieved whilst providing general administration and financial support to the business. You will be experienced in front office administration and reservation systems as well as understand the importance of promoting our in-house restaurant, The Balfour Kitchen and our gorgeous city-view rooftop bar. We have a close knit team at our intimate property and there will be an expectation that you will also assist in contributing to each department - whether it be assisting with food and beverage service, attending to an event or assisting with a linen change - we all do what it takes to ensure that our guests are treated to the absolute BEST in Hospitality! 

 

About You!

To be successful in this role, you will be self-motivated and have strong attention to detail. You will have a professional yet down to earth nature, a helpful disposition and a warm, welcoming manner.

You will also bring to the role:

  • Front Office experience in the tourism/hospitality industries;
  • Experience working within a team and the ability to work effectively with many personalities;
  • The ability to learn new software and systems;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proven experience in recommending and upselling additional products, services, packages and promotions;
  • And a genuine passion for ‘everything hospitality’ –good food, great wine and awesome experiences!
