The opportunity:
Due to continuous growth and consistent high performance of our weddings at our award-winning retreat, we have an opportunity for a passionate hospitality guru to join our team in the position of Food & Beverage and Wedding Professional. As our Food & Beverage and Wedding Professional,  you will be responsible for managing enquiries and sales as well as overseeing the coordination and delivery of all weddings held on property. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Front Office Team to complete checks ins and check outs and with the Food & Beverage Team, you will also be responsible for delivering an unforgettable dining experience to our guests whilst bringing the Peak magic to life.

About you:
To be considered for this role, you will have:  
  • Experience in wedding planning and coordination is preferable but if you have a willingness to learn we would welcome your application as well;
  • Exposure to and an understanding of fine dining / high end accommodation establishments and banqueting experience;
  • The ability to think on your feet and make decisions with informed authority;
  • A team focus and collaborative approach to your colleagues;
  • A genuine care for your guests and pride in your work;
  • Immaculate presentation standards;
  • RSA (QLD) or the ability to obtain one;
  • …and most importantly, a warm and accommodating nature with the willingness to go above and beyond.
 
Given the location of our property, you will need to live within a one hour commute of the Retreat and have your own reliable transport. Accommodation on site is available.
