To be considered for this role, you will also have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a proactive sales environment within the hospitality and tourism sector
  • Assertive with sourcing new leads through telemarketing, face to face sales meetings, presentation of new business proposals and concepts.
  • The ability to source and convert new business through telemarketing, face to face sales, networking, presentation of new business proposals and concepts;
  • Proven ability to reach sales targets and deliver results in line with the company goals;
  • Confidence in hosting client events, familiarisations and attending events aimed at promoting the company’s portfolio of retreats and hotels;
  • Knowledge and experience with Salesforce CRM 
  • Show initiative, be self-motivated, passionate and proactive in all areas of work.

About the role:

Reporting to the Group Sales Director, you will play a fundamental role to meet room night and revenue sales targets through the development and growth of new business, as well as retention of existing business with key clients across the MICE and corporate markets for all Spicers Retreats.

Your performance will be measured upon your ability to: 

  • Achieve the targets set in annual Group Sales & Marketing Business Plan including enquiry generation (new and existing business), materialised room nights and revenue, and growth in company CRM
  • Actively contribute to the company’s growth strategy and wider business plan
  • Generate and convert new business opportunities within the MICE market on behalf of all Spicers Retreats
  • Ensure sales activity targets are adhered to
  • Increase brand awareness and Spicers Retreats' position across all market segments
  • Maintain positive professional relationships and a comprehensive level of product knowledge for all Spicers Retreats.
